Opus XVI – Infinite Eyes
“Opus XVI – Infinite Eyes” is a 70×100 cm mixed media painting where hundreds of circular forms and graphic lines explode outward from a single core. Eyes become energy, radiating in all directions – a vortex of observation, awareness, and quiet power.
In Infinite Eyes, the entire surface is built as a radial system. From a central circular core, the canvas is divided into sharp triangular beams that reach all the way to the edges. Each segment alternates between two distinct textures: one side filled with densely packed circular forms that feel like countless staring eyes or cellular rings, and the other marked by short, parallel black dashes on a pale ground, like coded signals or waves of information.
Thin red lines trace the borders of these triangles, creating a subtle but undeniable sense of tension – as if the whole structure is both held together and electrified by this pulse of color. The restrained grayscale palette, broken only by these red accents, gives the piece a cool, almost mechanical presence while still feeling deeply organic and alive.
For collectors, Opus XVI – Infinite Eyes sits at the intersection of biology and cosmology: it can be read as a giant iris, a machine of perception, or a cosmic device scanning the universe. The heavy modeling paste and layered surface catch the light as you move, turning the painting into a physical object rather than just an image. This makes it a striking focal point for a living room, office, or gallery wall where you want both visual impact and a sense of quiet, watchful intensity.
