Opus XVII – Pulse of Colors
Opus XVII – Pulse of Colors is a large, textured abstract painting where rhythm, color and geometry come together in a vibrant constellation. Nine circular forms arranged in a 3×3 grid act as centres of energy, each one built from dense, radiating strokes that feel like a visual heartbeat.
The surface is covered with countless tiny, raised dots in shades of orange, purple, blue and white, creating a rich, tactile field that seems to vibrate with movement. Against this intricate background, the larger circles – outlined in black and filled with blues, purples and soft neutrals – anchor the composition and guide the eye across the canvas.
From a distance, Pulse of Colors reads as a strong, geometric statement piece. Up close, it reveals a universe of detail: layered textures, subtle shifts in color and small relief patterns that catch the light and change throughout the day. The painting invites the viewer to move slowly around it, discovering new relationships between form, color and rhythm with every glance.
This work belongs to my Opus series, where I explore circular and cosmic motifs as metaphors for inner energy, cycles and connection. In Opus XVII, multiple centres of pulse coexist on the same surface, suggesting a network of rhythms rather than a single orbit. It is a celebration of movement, light and the pure joy of creation – a bold contemporary artwork designed to become the focal point of any space.
