Opus XXVII – Radiant Core
Opus XXVII – Radiant Core is a work about emergence, inner force, and the visual language of energy becoming visible. Built around a luminous central core, the composition suggests a radiating pulse that expands outward through rhythm, structure, and tension. Rather than describing a static form, the painting presents a living center a place where light, movement, and balance meet.
The piece is shaped by a dialogue between order and intensity. Its circular architecture creates a sense of continuity and symmetry, while the layered surface gives the work a more organic, almost planetary quality. What first appears as a strong geometric statement gradually reveals a more atmospheric and meditative presence. The eye is drawn inward, then outward again, following the flow of the composition as it shifts between solidity and vibration.
The surface is built through a layered process that enhances both visual depth and tactile richness. Twelve different metallic colors form the base of the inner cores, creating an underlying field of reflective energy that changes with the light. Over this, twelve differently colored modeling pastes are applied with intentional, knife-like spatula gestures, allowing scattered highlights of the metallic underlayers to emerge unpredictably across the surface. This interplay between hidden luminosity and revealed texture gives the work a sense of movement that is never fixed, but constantly altered by viewing angle and ambient light.
As a result, Radiant Core is not only a painting to be seen, but one to be experienced over time. In brighter light, the metallic layers shimmer and shift; in softer light, the structure becomes more intimate and contemplative. It is a piece that rewards slow looking, offering collectors and interior designers a work that brings both visual impact and refined atmosphere to a space.
Its presence is particularly suited to contemporary interiors that value depth, individuality, and strong visual identity. Whether displayed in a private home, a professional space, or a curated modern environment, Radiant Core introduces a sense of elegance, energy, and contemplative power. It speaks to viewers who are drawn to art that feels both structured and alive art that holds attention not through excess, but through resonance.
